To be completely transparent, I started Tadow Apparel as a side hustle. Like any good hustle, the initial goal was simple: generate extra income. to fund more date nights with my wife, make sure my son could join every extracurricular activity his heart desired, and maybe treat myself to those nice bottles of scotch.
But I quickly realized I didn't want just another rigid job. Trading hours for dollars at a second clock-in that would only take me away from the family I was grinding for; I wanted Tadow Apparel to be more. It needed to be a creative outlet—something that inspired me to reconnect with something I loved and to share that passion day in and day out.
The direction was instantly clear: my lifelong connection to hip-hop culture. Growing up as a shy kid, finding hip-hop changed everything for me. From DJing local parties to learning how to C-walk, the elements of the culture gave my quiet personality a voice and a way to express my internal light.
Today, Tadow Apparel is an independent movement of unapologetic style and heavy-hitting creativity.
